The spirit of community was on full display at Vikings Sports Club on Saturday 20 September 2025, as families, neighbours and friends came together for a day packed with fun, food, and local pride.
From the moment gates opened at 10 am, the venue buzzed with excitement. Kids made a beeline for the jumping castles, colouring stations, and games in the Kids Zone, while animal lovers flocked to the petting zoo to meet the friendly goats and furry friends.
Car enthusiasts were treated to a special Mini Car Display presented by the Mini Car Club of NSW – a big hit for photo opportunities. The presence of the Army and Fire Brigade added to the sense of community connection, with families enjoying the chance to meet local service members.

The Charity BBQ hosted by Carlingford Cougars JRLFC kept everyone fuelled throughout the day, with all proceeds supporting local junior rugby league, whilst the Eels mascots were a extremely popular with adults and children alike.
The Family Fun Day captured exactly what Vikings Sports Club is all about – a welcoming space for everyone to gather, celebrate, and create memories together as a community.
